Description

Module GPS v2.0 is a high-performance GNSS global positioning module, integrating the high-performance AT6668 chip, providing accurate and reliable satellite positioning services. The module supports multi-frequency and multi-mode GNSS signal reception, compatible with multiple satellite navigation systems, including GPS, BD2, BD3, GLONASS, GALILEO, and QZSS, enabling high-precision, multi-system joint positioning or single-system independent positioning, with excellent anti-interference capabilities. In areas with weak signals, it can quickly obtain higher-precision location information.

The module comes with a default SMA antenna. Additionally, the module is equipped with a DIP switch, allowing users to flexibly switch TX/RX communication pins and perform precise timing settings through PPS signal output. The module supports multiple stacking uses, providing more customization possibilities and flexibility, suitable for high-precision positioning applications such as vehicle positioning and navigation, IoT positioning devices, remote monitoring, smart cities, home and industrial automation.

DIP Switch Pin Notes: When used with the Basic host, the G12 pin acts as a Strapping pin during startup and must be set to low. It cannot be switched to the ON position, otherwise, the device will not boot properly. After the device has booted, it can be configured normally and switched to the ON position. The G25 pin serves as a PPS output function, while the speaker uses it as an input function, causing a conflict. Only one function can be used at a time.
When used with Core2, the G2 pin is multiplexed with the speaker pin, and only one function can be used at a time.
