Operating Mode Description
Unit Flashlight offers two operating modes. After removing the device enclosure, you can switch between modes using the DIP switch inside, following the silkscreen labels:
- Flash Mode: Pulse flash control for instantaneous high brightness. Supports setting 8 levels of flash intensity (100% ~ 30%) and flash timeout via single-wire protocol. Designed specifically for photo fill lighting.
- Torch Mode: Continuous steady illumination with PWM dimming support, allowing stepless brightness adjustment. Suitable for video recording or everyday lighting scenarios.
Note
In flash mode, the brightness is high and each flash generates heat. To prevent overheating and potential damage to the device, a interval of 8 ~ 15 seconds between flashes is recommended.
