SKU:U040-B
Unit Pahub v2.0 is an I2C device splitter that can expand a single I2C HY2.0-4P interface to six channels, and allows devices with the same I2C address to be mounted (achieved by polling different channels to allow same-address devices coexistence). It is embedded with a PCA9548AP-I2C multi-channel switch IC, supporting expansion for 6 sets of I2C devices.
Specification | Parameter |
---|---|
Channel Control IC | PCA9548AP |
Protocol | I2C @0x70 (modifiable via resistors A0, A1, A2) |
Product Size | 48.0 x 24.0 x 10.8mm |
Product Weight | 7.5g |
Package Size | 138.0 x 93.0 x 11.8mm |
Gross Weight | 13.0g |
Referring to the schematics and PCA9548AP datasheet, this Unit can modify the device I2C address by controlling the A0~A2 pin level combinations. (Default address is 0x70)
Three solder pads for chip resistors A0-A2 are reserved on the Unit’s PCB, as shown below.
After soldering a 0-ohm resistor, the corresponding pin will change from low level to high level. The pin level combination and its corresponding I2C address are shown in the table below.
