Hat ENV-III

SKU:U053-D

Description

Hat ENV-III is a multifunctional environmental sensor compatible with the M5StickC series. It integrates SHT30 and QMP6988 to detect temperature, humidity, and atmospheric pressure data. SHT30 (0x44) is a high-precision, low-power digital temperature and humidity sensor. QMP6988 (0x56) is an absolute pressure sensor designed for mobile applications with high accuracy. For projects that require quick collection and detection of environmental data, Hat ENV-III is an excellent choice balancing performance and cost-effectiveness.

FAQ

How to resolve incompatibility of ENVIII HAT with M5StackC CPLUS I2C bus?

  • The M5Stack ENV III HAT does not provide data to the M5Stick CPlus via the I2C bus (Wire.begin(0,26)). Other HATs, like the M5StickC Heart Rate Hat, work normally on the same M5Stick CPlus.
  • Modify the header file SHT3X.cpp to add the bus setting Wire.begin(0,26,100000UL); as shown below:
  • And modify the main program's bus setting as shown below:
