Atom JoyStick v1.1 is a multi-functional programmable dual-joystick remote controller. As an iterative version of the Atom JoyStick, its core improvement is that the main controller has been upgraded from AtomS3 to AtomS3R. The AtomS3R integrates the ESP32-S3-PICO-1-N8R8, features 8MB Flash, 8MB PSRAM, and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, and includes a built-in BMI270 6-axis attitude sensor and BMM150 3-axis geomagnetic sensor.
The controller base integrates an STM32 core main controller and uses an I2C communication interface. It is equipped with 2 Hall-effect five-way joysticks, 2 function buttons, an independent power switch, and RGB LED indicators. It is powered by a high-voltage battery for stronger endurance. There are two onboard battery charging interfaces that can charge the battery of the StampFly v1.1 at the same time. The product is pre-flashed with StampFly remote-control firmware at the factory and communicates with the StampFly via the ESP-NOW protocol. The firmware source code is open source, making it suitable for drone control, robot control, smart cars, and various DIY projects.
This tutorial introduces how to flash the factory firmware to the StampFly and Atom Joystick / Atom JoyStick v1.1 via M5Burner, pairing, and the basic operations and indications of the quadcopter

Learn
Charging Reminder
1. Connect the data cable to charge. There is a power indicator in front of the corresponding battery. Red indicates the battery is charging and not fully charged; Green indicates it is fully charged and has reached 4.35V. 2. Only the USB Type-C interface on the base supports battery charging. The USB Type-C interface of the AtomS3R main controller cannot charge the battery.
Battery Maintenance
1. Under load, never discharge the battery below 3V per cell. 2. Do not store a fully charged battery for more than 3 days. For long-term storage, keep the voltage between 3.8V and 3.9V.
