Grove Port
1.Interface Color Definition
Most M5Stack products use a unified Grove expansion interface (HY2.0-4P) specification and define the interface colors for different communication protocols.
On different Units or expansion devices, the following interface definitions are generally used:
- Red: Defined as an I2C interface.
- Blue: Defined as a UART interface.
- Black: Defined as a GPIO interface. Some pins may be used for ADC/DAC or special single-wire protocols.
- White: Undefined interface, typically used for splitters or custom interfaces.
Grove interface on the main control device
The Grove expansion interfaces on the main control device are also marked with different colors, but depending on the main control chip scheme, the GPIOs on these interfaces can typically be mapped to other functions.
2.PinMap
The Grove interface terminals are generally defined from left to right as GND, 5V, and two communication IOs.
