Description

Atomic H-Driver Base is an H-bridge motor driver specifically designed for the ATOM series controllers. It incorporates the DRV8876 motor driver chip and supports a 9-24V/DC power supply input, which powers the entire device through the built-in DC/DC circuit. It also features a voltage divider circuit connected to the ADC pin G33 for real-time monitoring of the power input.

The driver can deliver an output current of up to 1.5A, with a peak current of 2A, enabling precise speed control and bidirectional rotation for DC motors. Internally, the driver integrates an N-channel H-bridge, a charge pump voltage regulator, current sensing and regulation, current proportional output, and protection circuits. The protection circuits include undervoltage lockout (UVLO) for power supply, undervoltage for the charge pump (CPUV), output overcurrent (OCP), and device overtemperature (TSD) protection. Fault conditions are indicated through the FAULT pin.
