M5StickC Factory Firmware

Factory Firmware
If the device encounters operational issues, you can try re-burning the factory firmware to check for hardware faults. Refer to the following guide. Use the M5Burner firmware burning tool to burn the factory firmware onto the device.

1. Preparation

2. USB Driver Installation

Driver Installation Tips
Connect the device to the PC and open the Device Manager to install the FTDI driver . Take Windows 10 as an example: download the driver file matching your operating system, extract it, and install it through the Device Manager. (Note: In some system environments, the driver may need to be installed twice to take effect. Unrecognized device names are usually M5Stack or USB Serial. It is recommended to use the driver file for direct installation via the Device Manager (custom update) on Windows, as the executable installation method may not work properly.) Click here to download the FTDI driver .
For MacOS users, before installation, check System Preferences -> Security & Privacy -> General -> Allow apps downloaded from -> App Store and identified developers.

3. Port Selection

Connect the device to the computer via USB cable. After completing the driver installation, the corresponding device port can be selected in M5Burner.

4. Firmware Burning

Click "Burn" to start burning.

The result is as shown below:
